A Working Title, A Living Concept, And The Next Step In The Grail Saga

I am excited to share that I am currently working on the next concept in The Last Templar’s Oath series.

At this stage, the title and storyline are still evolving. Nothing is written in stone until release day, and as every author knows, the story may still reveal new secrets along the way. Characters speak. History whispers. The Grail, apparently, does not enjoy being rushed.

But this is what I believe the next book is going to say, explore, and cover.

The current working title is:

The Last Templar’s Oath: The Western Promise

This book continues the journey that began with the Grail, the fall of the old Order, and the sacred burden placed upon Sir Matthieu de Montrose.

The Grail is hidden.

For now.

Sir Matthieu de Montrose has built what he was commanded to build, an estate, a household, a family, and the first quiet roots of a new order no king can summon and no priest can easily condemn.

But shadows do not die simply because good men wish them gone.

Lourenço still watches.

The Church still questions.

The Crown still hungers.

And somewhere beneath stone, silence, and prayer, the Grail waits.

When one final deception brings danger closer than ever before, Matthieu is forced to confront a truth he has tried to outrun:

No hiding place remains safe forever.

Not a wagon.

Not a floor.

Not even an estate.

To protect the Grail, the Montrose line must begin looking beyond Portugal, beyond familiar roads, beyond the reach of men who believe holiness can be owned.

There are whispers of islands in the western sea.

Unclaimed.

Unsettled.

Unknown to most.

But not to all.

As loyalties are tested and old enemies draw near, Matthieu must decide what every guardian after him will one day be forced to decide.

What must be sacrificed so the oath survives?

The old Order had been hunted.

The new one must learn to disappear.

What This Book May Explore

The Last Templar’s Oath: The Western Promise is expected to continue the saga of the Grail, the Montrose bloodline, and the sacred promise that will eventually carry a secret across oceans, through generations, and into lands history has not yet named.

This next chapter may explore:

The burden of guardianship.

The cost of loyalty.

The danger of sacred things falling into hungry hands.

The quiet courage required to protect what cannot be publicly defended.

And the beginning of a westward movement that may reshape the destiny of the Montrose family forever.

At its heart, this story is not only about hiding the Grail.

It is about becoming the kind of people worthy of protecting it.
